While there are few hotel options in central Cordoba, (or there is not a great deal of information on the web) I would not highly recommend the NH Urbano. The hotel was well located but the rooms were dingy and dated. The bathroom, though clean and more modern, was not well designed as the water from the shower flooded the floor regardless of shower and door positioning. The pool was not noteworthy and the main positive aspect of the hotel was the location. NH Panorama and Urbano are located one block apart. Though I only steped in the lobby, the Panorama seemed to be an upgrade from the Urbano. The Sheraton appeared to be located further outside of downtown.
The hotel was not awful but not one that I would recommend.
The restaurant Al Corta was amazing; make sure to try it!

A very nice hotel. We loved it! It is clean with a nice modern bath and walk in closet. We had a separate living room with couch, chair and desk. Also a large balcony over looking the city.
The location is good, with the main plaza and good shopping, restaurants and parks within easy walking distance. Just bring your street map provided by the desk. The day clerk understood English and went out of his way to arrange some very nice tours for us. The night staff didn't seem to speak English while we were there.
There is a nice pool on the roof, which we didn't use.
The breakfast could be a little more extensive, but was adequate. They didn't have the cheese and meat platters most Argentine hotels offer.
Make sure your taxi driver doesn't drop you off at the NH Panorama, a block away. Ours started to. Same chain but more expensive.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed three nights at the NH Urbano (one block away from the NH Panorama).
The hotel is of excellent international standard. We had a spacious double room, spotless bathroom (marble, with bath). The staff is extremely friendly.
Location is good too, with lots of bars, cafe and restaurants a few minutes walk away. It is also well located to visit the central historical monuments of Cordoba.
We paid ARS 163 (including taxes and breakfast) aprox US 54.
We would definitely stay here again.
