My two sisters and I stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights during the Tulip Festival. This hotel has the standard rooms and amenities expected in a budget hotel, but my overall impression is that it is showing its age. There is no elevator, and the steps leading to the second floor are uneven and create stumbles both going up and coming down them. Our room was not cleaned the first day until we called the front desk around 4:00 p.m. The sink leaked from the top, but it was immediately fixed when we reported the problem. When we arrived, there were four bath towels but only two face cloths and two hand towels; we requested an extra hand towel and an extra face cloth for the second night and had to make a second request before it was honored. The breakfast was very good and included a waffle station, assorted rolls, and hard boiled eggs. There is no restaurant in the immediate area; all of the ones that had been there were closed or had moved. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the city, and the overall experience lived up to the two star rating that this hotel has.

We stayed two nights at the Comfort Inn, Holland MI. Since I had enough Choice Points, I wound up booking two different rooms. The first night we stayed in a queen double. The room was clean and average. Our second night was in a King with a double sized jacuzzi tub in the room. There was also an extra sink in the room. The bathroom did not have a tub, but had a good sized shower stall. Both rooms had extra blankets, pillows, microwave and a small refrigerator. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. We were able to check out of our first room and immediately check into our second room. There is a small outdoor pool and hot tub outside. The continental breakfast was good. Some of the food that was offered was cereal, instant oatmeal, bagels, toast, english muffins, fruit, cream cheese, coffee, juice , milk and make your own waffle. There was probably more, but that is all I can remember. The motel is located on a main highway. Driving distance is an outlet mall, (not too many stores in it), a shopping mall, wal-mart, Dutch Village and many resturaunts. Next door to the motel is a Ponderosa Steak House. We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. It was reasonalbly priced for the area. The internet rate for 2 queens on a Thursday night was about $63. People checking in without a rate were given a higher price. The rates do go up on the weekend. That's why I used my points for Friday night. and took the better room. I would stay there again.

Stayed here several times more than a decade ago. This was a new property then, but the years have taken a toll. Rooms and public spaces are in great need of updating. Furniture, bedding, carpeting, and bathrooms seem to have been neglected over the years, and major renovations are needed. Two more major issues plagued my room, the security lock did not line up properly with the door and could not be used, and the heating unit was difficult to properly set. On the plus side, the Confort Inn has a great southside location and was clean. All in all a mixed bag, I can still recommend, but there are newer hotels(with a higher price tag) out by the mall.

There is no elevator so you have to drag luggage up stairs, but for the price ($70) I thought it was pretty good. The room had a comfortable bed, a reclining chair, a microwave, refrigerator, couch, coffee maker & good tv. It was clean & when I opened the curtains there were nice trees right there outside the window - felt like a tree house! What more could I ask for? Continental breakfast & swimming pool too. Plenty of parking & easy to find. Yes I will stay here again on my next trip thru Michigan.
