I spent a night here with my family in February before taking the ferry over to Sweden in the morning.
All in all the stay was quite pleasant. The hotel in not a a luxury one in any way but clean and functioning. Our kids liked the spa they have very much and it was also the reason why we chose to stay there.
The restaurant food was OK, nothing fancy but eatable. The only remark is that I think 10,50 ? for a kids buffet is quite a lot especially not including drinks.
Sleeping was unfortunately brutally interrupted at 5.15 in the morning (on a Sunday !) when some smart guy got the great idea of starting to plough the snow from the parking lot outside. Taking into consideration that there was about 2 cm of snow it could maybe have waited to a more decent hour.... The noise was so bad that my whole family woke up to it. I went down to the reception to complain about it but nothing was done. The whole process took about 15 minutes but was enough for causing the kids to stay awake for the rest of the night. Sent an e-mail to the hotel manager afterwards and an understanding response came quickly. Hopefully this won't happen again.
All in all OK but beware of the snow plough :)

Me and my wife spend our wedding night in one of the suites at this hotel and were quite satisfied with it. The room was nice and clean and had a comfy bed, cool champagne awaited us in upon arrival, and the breakfast was served just as appointed. The personnel was friendly and polite, and agreed on late checkout at no extra cost (alltough the room's keycard stopped working after 12.00, resolved after a visit in the reception).
Relaxing at the spa after a busy week was wonderful, as was the pizza buffet served in the accompanying restaurant.
We were positively surprised by the interior of the suite, which looked a bit shabby at some of the hotel's own pictures.

This is an old and filthy hotel. You`re lucky if your room is cleaned at all. Young girls (look like teenagers) are so called cleaners, vacuum cleaner in one hand and a cellular phone in the other.
The breakfast is just fanatstic! A few hundred people gathered in a noicy room, fighting over the food that doesn`t last if you`re too late.
No - find yourself another hotel. And if you want to try the poolarea, just pay`em a visit, it`s enough!
Never back again!
