"My husband and I got married in this hotel Dec 2004. The staff were absolutley wonderful, very helpful and made us feel at ease for the 2 days we were there. Everything ran very smoothly. Most of our guests travelled for the wedding and stayed in the hotel and everyone was very pleased with the rooms..."

My wife and i stayed with our 3 year old child. Though the hotel looks ok, i think branding it as a 4* hotel is a bit much. We've stayed in better 3* hotels. This hotel looks more like an early 1990's 4* hotel. The lifeguards in the swimming pool were ridiculous. Even though the pool was fairly busy, they were more intent on getting lost in a side room and rarely looking into the pool area. No way would you feel confident if something happened. The rooms are outdated and definately not up to 4* standard. The TV was tiny and showed only about 5 channels. The restaurant was nice, the food was very good and the staff were very helpful, though you'd be better off having a proper breakfast elsewhere as this was very lacklustre too. A leisure centre does not automatically make a 4* hotel. You need to buck up and see what 4* standard is. At ?180 a night it just wasn't worth it.

On arrival I asked for a smoking room, got a non smoking, You have to pay for broadband. They didn't know what a rock shandy was ( Irish Bar Person ). Food was sent back, it was so bad i didn't want a replacement meal. TV's in Bar keep dropping pic annoying when trying to watch match. The room only had a few of the stated channels, the only hotel i have stayed in where they still have shower curtains. Dont do it, stay in town.

Stayed in a Suite in the Carrigaline Court this weekend. The Suite is excellent for the asking price. A proper seat for two night and a evening meal for around ?400. The staff were excellent and come highly recommend. We travel to the hotel with our one year old child and the staff in the restaurant went out of their way to help us. If you plan to visit Cork City and want to include visits to West Cork a well, stay in this Hotel. Kinsale is a mere 20 minutes drive as is Cobh on the ferry. Well done to the Hotel and Staff

The Carrigaline Court is a short drive south from Cork City and just 15 minutes from Cork Airport. The rooms are quite clean and comfortable and there is free wi-fi access and an on site fitness centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. I came here for a business visit but would certainly return again for pleasure.

Stayed here for weekend with my husband and my first impression was that the website for the hotel did wonders for it. I found the hotel to have little atmosphere and could do with a few fires even electric ones to create an atmosphere or even a few plants. The leisure centre was extremely cold and there was no shampoo or shower gel provided which for a 4 star I thought was bad. The Hotel is in a nice location and there is a bus service to Cork city just outside the door which is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a nice enough hotel but I don't think it was 4 star standards.
