Ciao! This hotel is the perfect location for Sorrento. You can walk everywhere, as it is situated steps from the center of town. It's an easy stroll to all restaurants, shops, even the ferry to Capri! Rooms are very large, clean and luxurious. Ask for a view, as it is spectacular! The front desk employees were very helpful. Important to note: Be aware that many hotels in that area are situated in the mountains, so you must take a shuttle bus to and from the center of town. The good news is that this hotel allows you to have a lot of freedom, you can walk everywhere, as it is in the ideal location to explore Sorrento!

Excellent location, it cannot be beaten, just a 400 metre stroll from all main activities & very quiet location too. Fantastic views, perched on the cliffs overlooking the harbour, great gardens & seating areas. Take the lift down through the cliffs to more gardens & onto the shore-line & lido. Reasonable sized pool set in the gardens. The room we had was extremely comfortable, a good size with an amazing 'L' shaped bathroom with separate walk in shower, bath, bidet, etc., vanity sinks in the short 'L' bit. Matching soft furnishings & decor, very very clean & chique with a big balcony (not all are as big). Stayed half board, excellent breakfast choice & a good choice of table d' hote evening meal. Gala evening a really enjoyable experience. Good service always, very helpful concierge & reception staff. Give it a go if you are lucky enough to find rooms vacant, you won't be disappointed.

Over the past ten years or so we have stayed at this Hotel at least twice a year - usually June / July and September and absolutely love it. There are many repeat guests which I think speaks for itself. The staff speak great English and are very friendly and efficient. The pool area is situated in lovely gardens with stunning views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and there are areas of sun and shade at different times of the day. (There is also a terrace area and the Hotel has its own private decked bathing platform built out over the sea with sunbeds and parasols.) Sunbeds and pool towels are provided free of charge. Terrazza Snack Bar is very, very good in our opinion with a wide and varied selection of snacks and drinks with those views over the cliff edge if you sit 'by the window'. Reasonably priced and ideal for lunch if you don't want to go too far in the heat of the day. One of our favourite places on the planet! (We book B&B and walk into town to sample the local flavour so can't comment on the evening meals but they do a Gala Buffet outdoors once a week which is apparently worth a try). We book a full sea view room and request a high floor as this makes the most of those views. Personally we prefer the 5th floor as in our experience the 6th floor rooms are the smallest in the Hotel but as the floors are tiled in these you don't get any overhead noise - we just hope that our upstairs neighbours wear the towelling slippers provided! Fluffy robes and nice toiletries also provided in the marble topped bathrooms. Rooms have traditional marquetry furniture and yes, it is commonplace in Italy for your 'king sized' bed to be two single mattresses pushed together but this makes for a large comfortable sleeping experience. Location wise the Hotel can't be beaten as it is literally just minutes away from the main Piazza Tasso, train, bus station and harbour for the jetfoils so great access to the whole of the Amalfi Coast. The public areas of the Hotel have been refurbished during the Winter and we have defn. seen an improvement this year. (Only complaints would be that there is only one shared toilet for the pool area and also that apparently due to the big increase in the cost of electricity in Italy recently, the air conditioning was defn. not as effective as in previous years.) If you are thinking of going to Sorrento, this is the one for you. If you want fantastic views, amazing food and great staff this is the one you should choose. Very classy, very Italian. We paid extra for sea veiw, this is a must, the views are to die for. We were the youngests guest during our stay, everyone was so friendly, no one walked passed you and didnt say hello. We made some lovely friends during our weeks stay. This hotel was the best we had ever stayed in, We will go back. Many of the guest had been several times.
