My husband and I stayed at this Holiday Inn as a first little getaway after our daughter was born. The price was great, so of course we thought we'd have to "make do" with whatever they gave us. But the place was lovely! The lobby area is warm and inviting. They also upgraded us to a suite when we checked in, which was a nice suprise. The room was tasteful and our bathroom was spotless. I am a light sleeper and usually have a hard time in hotels, but the bed was sooo comfortable! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which has a cool indoor/outdoor feature. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay and will definitely visit again when we need some time alone:)

Worn out hotel should be 29 a nite, no locks on outside doors, ice machines busted, cob webs and rotten ceiling tile in the bathroom that must have been built for midgets. Room a/c units are old and musty and noisy, looks like it will not be long til the Clarion sign is out front.

The room and hotel were very clean and mostly in good repair. It is beginning to be a little frayed around the edges but definitely still a comfortable place to stay. There was some kind of problem with the hot tub during this visit--it was only lukewarm rather than hot. I have stayed at this hotel with my family 4 or 5 times over the last 5 years and have found it to be consistently clean and in good repair.

As an animal lover, I'm glad they allow pets, but the cat urine smell in the hallway was strong. When I let the front desk know about the smell, they apologized & said the cat owners were checking out that day.

A few minor glitches, otherwise a nice place to stay, especially with kids. We tried to check in a bit early - 1:00PM, but were told to come back at 3-3:30PM. Our online reservation said checkin time was 3. When we returned at 3:45 our room still wasn't ready and we were told checkin time was 4. At 4:15 our room still wasn't ready! They switched rooms and that was that....wonder why they didn't try switching us earlier. The Holidome was pretty nice except half of the video games were broken and the pool had so much chlorine in it that it immediately burned my eyes. The hotel has a big bar, unfortunately it was closed for a private party on Saturday night. The side bar for guests started to close at 10PM and they told me to go to the other bar, even though it was clearly marked as closed for a private party. Other than that though the place was at least clean and convenient, and the kids loved it.
