Good, basic hotel. Pleasant desk staff. Convenient business certer, with 3 PC's and a printer. Free daily (M - F) "Cocktail" hour. No cocktails - small glasses of beer and a couple of cheap wines. Hors douvres consist maily of chips, crackers and cheese. There was a crock pot with little sausage links. Breakfast was simple but good.
My room was very large. It came equipped with the usual coffee and tea supplies, plus a microwave oven, a small refrigeratorn an irn, and small ironing board. The bedroom and bath were very clean. The room was quiet and the matress was excellent. I slept like a log.
I would say this hotel is an excellent value for the money, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something just above basic lodging.

We first stayed at the Windy Hill Country Inns and Suites last summer on our way back from a week in Savannah. We decided to stay here due to the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and its location. - It's a few exits up the road from the High Art Museum and the Botanical Gardens. When my sister from Canada called and asked us to join her and her husband in Atlanta for a few days in Feb I immediately thought of the Windy Hill Country Inns and Suites. We had a really nice stay. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned to them that another couple would be arriving and asking about us they gave us rooms side by side without us even having to ask. The rooms are comfortable and the location is quiet - especially considering its 2 minutes from the interstate. It's in a wooded valley so you don't even feel like you're in a big city. There is an air force base fairly close by so you do get the odd F18 or transport plane go by during the day. There are lots of good restaurants and a Target within a short drive and the hotel even has a van that will run you around the neighbourhood - though we didn't need this service as we had a car. The pool is indoors and is in an attached but separate glass building so no chlorine stink in the halls. The breakfast was really good. I have to say one of the nicest complementary hotel breakfasts I've had with a good variety.
The lobby is large but cozy with an open fireplace and some nice sitting areas. We spent the end of our evenings sitting in the lobby in the big cozy chairs talking with my sister and her husband. I'm not the review writing type but since I use Trip Advisor as a travel reference I felt I should share this great find.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. The staff were so helpful, happy and a great asset to their company. The hotel was clean & the shuttle service great. This is needed to get around the local area as its a walk to the nearest resturants. Definately recommend it, prices very good. Shame breakfast was served with plastic plates and knives. Could have been a better selection at breakfast too.

Stayed here for a week with the US Air Force. This was a great hotel! The rooms were clean and nice. Do not stay on the side of the hotel facing the woods however, I was there my first night and the birds were extremely loud starting at 4am! I asked to be moved and they were very accomadating, putting me in a suite! They have a embassy suites style manager reception hosted by the managers son mon-thursday. The drinks are free and my crew and I definetly took advantage! The young man serving us was also willing to drive us to dinner anywhere we wanted, and pick us up when we were done! He eared his tips for sure. They have a nice pool, as well as a business center with 3 computers right off the lobby. Very nice place to stay.
