Stayed here last year and when I found myself travelling to Reims again I booked in once more. The lobby is quite impressive when you walk in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we had was overlooking Place D'Erlon but we didn't have any trouble with noise. The room was average size. Bathroom small with just a shower. The room could do with a bit of updating but it was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Within walking distance of nearly everything and easy to find from the motorway with an underground car park right outside. If you are looking to stay in a good location for a very reasonable price you should consider this place.

The rooms are a bit shabby; the bathrooms are quite tired (with plumbing and wiring on the inside of the walls and bath/showers that are downright dangerous); and the breakfast is nothing to write home about.
However, the location is wonderful -- about four blocks to the Cathedral; on major bus routes (we went out to Saint Remi for a Euro each way); and near several good restaurants.
Unlike other reviewers, we were not taken by Brasserie Flo -- but that might have been because it was a busy Saturday night; we did, however, love the Grand Cafe, which specializes in mussels and is right across the street from the hotel.
Others in our party tried the Three Brewers and found it grossly overpriced and not particularly good.
All in all, the Grand Hotel Continental is far from grand; however, it is solid and is well located for exploring Reims.

A small room overlooking what turned out to be a very noisy kitchen of the restaurant next door. Great if you want to listen to the chef shouting to his staff or the clashing of dishes at 2 o'clock in the morning....And once that had finished we enjoyed the noise of the air conditioning units.
Good location but not worth 75 Euros!

Good location: underground car park right outside, and dozens of cafes and bars nearby. Fairly cheap. However it is a bit shabby, and slightly noisy. But as a stopover it's fine - go and have a meal and a few drinks, and get some sleep. No problem.
