"It felt like home as soon as I walked into the lobby and smelled the chocolate chip cookies! The room is extremely clean and very comfortable. I felt very safe. The location was very convenient. I will definately come back next time I'm in Atlanta. "

After booking my stay at CI&S Atlanta Ariport North, I read some of the reviews here, and got a bit concerned. Upon arriving, though, I found a clean, comfortable hotel that really worked to earn our business. Melissa, the front desk clerk that checked us in was extremely professional, proficient, and showed my Japanese guests a shining example of Southern Hospitality. She could not have been nicer or more helpful, but she sure would try! She was also like a mother bear protecting her cubs, and I witnessed her throw out a prostitute attempting to gain access to the hotel. Overall, take reviews with a grain of salt. Our experience there was excellent. The rooms were clean, free wi-fi throughout the hotel, free business center to print documents as needed, and a superb breakfast every morning made it a great stay. I would definitely consider staying there again if my travels take me to Atlanta.

We arrived at this hotel around 5:00 to find our reservation was 'not here'. With reservation documents in-hand we were told the hotel was full up and they did not know what happened. After some investigation and probing the front desk manager, it appears we were booked in a few days earlier and checked-out as a no-show and our credit card charged. The manager did assert some power and found us a room and reversed the incorrect charge to our credit card. Besides the reservation debacle, the pros are the location to the airport and to the highway. It is about a 15 minute ride into the city and just a few minutes to the airport. The front desk did not have any maps of downtown Atlanta and warned us to "be careful" while going into the city for dinner. The room we were given had a hand-held shower head, which was a bit awkard and leaked. The room was otherwise fine and the price was right ($101).

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for one night on our way back from Aruba to Houston. We had stayed in the 4 star Westin in Aruba, so didn't know how we would feel going to a two star. However, this hotel was lovely. It was very well priced ($100 including taxes), comfortable and in a neighbourhood that we walked to the restaurant Ruby Tuesdays. I would recommend this hotel for a stopover hotel because you get a complimentary airport shuttle ride to and from the hotel, and breakfast. I would have even stayed at this hotel for a week because compared to the Westin, it was on the same level. Also, I never heard any planes during the night.

4 adults shared a suite in this hotel. The price was budget but the facilities were very good. Excellent shuttle from the airport and the appearance of the hotel was most attractive after a long flight. The front desk staff were most helpful on several occassions, even printing out a map of a route to the best local mall. The breakfast room was clean and attractive and a good range of food was on offer. There was no discernable airport noise. A good choice of food outlets were within walking distance. An excellent hotel for a short stay after a long flight.

Roomy suite, but couldn't close doors to bedroom and bathroom at same time. Stained window drapes took away from the plain, but otherwise clean room, very heavy with room deoderizer. When no one picked up the phone at the front desk when I tried to leave a morning wake up call, I walked there and found the attendant on the porch smoking, as the phone continued to ring at the desk while other parties tried calling. She told me the wake up service was "down", and to set my clock radio, because the staff might be "doing paperwork", and not paying attention to wake up call requests. The bed was comfortable, but constant noise from planes overhead kept me up for a very long time. Morning in the lobby found the previous airport shuttle passengers still waiting on their late driver. To her credit, they were put in a cab by the desk attendant, and we ended up taking their late shuttle, which arrived a few minutes later, after wondering if that one or the one scheduled to arrive on the next hour, (which was the one we had planned to take), would be there on time. The fly/shuttle price was reasonable, but I will look for a different hotel next time, such as the less expensive, new Fairfield Inn, in East Point, about a mile from the airport , which doesn't charge extra for the park/fly program.
