They definately don't like motorcyclists. They refused to help out a minor parking situation. They actually told us to park at another casino and walk back.
We left a voicemail with the GM and he never responded. I can't imagine if it was a major issue that needed attention.
The buffet was barely fair.
We were quickly escorted away from the pool after hours and had to join a bunch of cigar smoking men with glass beer bottles everywhere. I guess that was overlooked.
Definately an older casino with need of updating.

This is an older hotel but quite adequate. The atmosphere is typical
casino. The room was good size and the mattress was very comfortable. The buffet was typical casino food as well. Not to great but not too bad. They had a live band in the lounge and the drinks were very reasonable.
Just one complaint. The bathroom door squeaked like an old rusty iron gate. Lack of maintenance is typical at some of there older
places.
All in all it was a good stay.

I stayed in Casablanca Hotel in December with a tour for three nights. It was very easy to go to Bryce Park and Zion Park.( i would definately recommend going to this parks if you are a nature lover)
The room was good facing the front park and people at reception were friendly and helpful.
Because of the cold weather the pool was closed. There is a nearby Walmart if you wanted to get any shopping . I had forgotten my watch in london and bought one from Walmart at a good price.
You can get free w/f in Mcdonalds.and Casablanca is good place to stopover .

Not bad for the price. The service was good, the room was clean, the food was tasty and the casino was nice. I was surprised considering the price. If you have to pick a hotel in this town, this seems to be the best choice.

Good Hotel..... Avoid the Buffet

My husband and I stayed at the Casablanca in January of '08 with a group of friends. The rooms were a bit outdated, but clean. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.
One piece of advice... avoid the buffet at all costs. Of the 6 people we were dining with, no one had anything good to say about the food. The meat and seafood were dry. The deserts tasted like they had been in a freezer for at least a couple months. I wouldn't have fed anything they were offering to starving, stray dogs. My husband and I ended up paying $35.00 for salad (lettuce, cheese, and dressing: not even any good salad toppings!) and ice cream.
The next day we decided to try the buffet at the Eureka, what a difference! The food was fresh and flavorful. So if you're in the mood for a buffet in Mesquite, I would steer clear of the Casablanca and try the Eureka instead.
