Family friendly hotel with a keen front door person and an obliging kitchen staff. Excellent value and excellent location. Parking ( we came and went several times a day ) was never more than a block away if not right in front of the hotel. One needed to step up slightly into our particular room's shower ( which might be challenging to elderly ) but the shower was comfortable ( the first shower for my three year old son - he loved it ! ) and room was spotless and beds were large and comfortable. I loved the down comforters and oversized pillows. There is an elevator which my son loved and many European photograhs displayed on the walls. I felt that the owners were accustomed to travel and knew how to treat other travellers as well. Our family liked the Spoettel. We stayed a week.
