I stayed at this hotel for two nights on a recent trip to Leeds; I have previously stayed in several other similarly priced hotels within Leeds. I would say that the very central location and on-site parking puts this hotel on a higher level from those other chains. I drove to the hotel and was aware of the location, however if I were to believe my Sat-Nav I don’t know where it would have taken me? So beware! If arriving by rail you are only a few hundred yards from the hotels Whitehall Road entrance. I arrived at the hotel at 16.30 and the underground car park had ample spaces. The front desk staff were efficient, professional and friendly. The foyer is spacious with the restaurant and bar off the main foyer. There is a playstation near the reception desk, which may be ideal for residents with children; however there were no seats, so players wouldn’t get too comfortable. The hotel itself is very close to the financial section of Leeds as well as the railway station and city centre shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast service is very good, I was impressed with the quality and choice of the food and the service from the staff. As other reports have stated there is a building opposite the hotel currently under construction, (At foundation level July’08) however the “noise” didn’t start up until 08.00. I would certainly stay here again.

Booked this hotel after comparing a couple of City Centre hotels in Leeds around the same price. Found it reasonably easy and whilst the car park was limited, there were at least 6 spaces when we arrived at 1.30 (for a 2pm check-in). The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The room was great, spacious and clean. Facilities such as fridge, hair dryer, iron and safe were provided in the room. We booked direct with Novotel and got the Summer Break deal -one night with breakfast ?59 for a double room but there was a sofa bed so 3 -4 could have stayed in the room. So much choice at breakfast, cereals, continental breakfast and the good old English fry up. All looked amazing. Once again the staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. Check out was simple and car parking for ?7 overnight was a great deal. About 5 -10 mins walk into City Centre, safe to walk around at night and security at hotel was comforting. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed for one night. It is a modern hotel with a decent lobby. Room service was good and on time. The hotel room was a little marked up even though I think the hotel is only a few years old. There is a construction site next door which started at around 7am. You can hear it and it is loud if you are on that side of the hotel. The wifi in the lobby wasn't working. Find this a little hard to accept in a city centre location. Front desk didn't know anything about it, but restaurant manager seemed to know that it didn't work properly. Mentioned it at check out so they should get it fixed. Breakfast was an OK buffet style. Overall it was definitely good for the price I paid last minute (69.50 no breakfast) but the wifi not working was a real problem for me as a buisness traveller. I got into the small car park as I checked in fairly early, and they didn't charge me. It is stated as 24 hours for ?6 quid.

A two-day break; I was looking for good, accommodation and a central location. The Novotel Leeds provided all. Similar to other hotels from large hotel groups, the hotel provided anonymity, a good location and efficiency. The whole hotel experience from private car park to leisure facilities was in keeping with such a large group. All the staff were efficient, good mannered and courteous. The accommodation was clean, modern and spacious. My wife and I were there for two days and found all the facilities in keeping with our expectations. The rooms where clean, modern, well maintained and well designed. The location was perfect, easy access to motorways and walking distance from the city centre shopping arcades.
