Firstly, please be aware this hotel is not in Porto itself, but to the south of the river and so if being in the town is important to you, then beware. Hotel is nice enough, my room was in the old novotel style and I do not know if they are being upgraded.. But it was clean enough and presented as it should be for the brand.. Pretty much what you'd expect for a Novotel, which in my opinion is good enough for most trips.. Not luxury, sure, but perfectly functional.. Bar and restaurant will be familiar to those who know the Novotel brand. The outdoor pool area looked nice, although I didn't use it, and sea side rooms had a nicer view.. Car parking can be limited near the hotel entrances, but there is a wider car park to the rear.. Road system around it is confusing so watch carefully for signs..

Hôtel très calme, nous avions une vue magnifique sur le Douro, demandez une chambre au 3ème ou 4ème étage avec vue sur le jardin. Très près du centre et des caves, nous avons adoré Porto. Apparemment les chambres ont été rénovées, l'hôtel est moderne et le personnel est très aimable.
