This is not the first time we have stayed here (been there 3 times), and definately not the last. The rooms are huge, with an entry to a compact but extremely functional kitchenette, then through to a lounge room with study in one corner. Nice big TV if you want to relax in the room. From here, you go through to the bedroom, with a beautiful comfortable bed and LCD TV on the wall. Then through the walk in roke to the magnificent looking bathroom. In all, I couldn't expect to find a better quality hotel. The staff were super efficient and the breakfast was fantastic. We had one insignificant issue. Our card wouldn't open our door. The battery in the reader was flat. Within 2 minutes (no exaturation), a staff member was there replacing the batteries for us. Location is perfect as well. A two minute walk and you are in Flinders St Station, Burke St mall probably 5 minutes slow walk away. I would never want to stay at another hotel in Melbourne except for this one.

the apartment we stayed in was beautiful, clean and quiet. living room with desk, couch and tv. french doors lead to the bedroom. the lobby and halls were all appointed to a very high standard. the location is also great. walking distance to bars, cafes, and all the sites around melbourne. unfortunately, the valet, scratched our car while parking it. we were notified by the hotel about the problem before we found it ourselves. the hotel offered to pay for the damage. we had to take time off work to get 2 quotes from repairers. it took several weeks for Accor to approve the quotes and pay the repairer, and we weren't contacted once this was done. we had to chase them up ourselves, at which time we were told we could put the car in to be repaired.

Great Location, and has a old world charm. But definately needing a fresh-up, and matteress was tattered, worn and badly needed replacing. Street noise depite sound-proofing. But biggest disappointment was poor cleaning which could have been better. After a couple of days transfered to another location which was cleaner and more reasonably priced. Staff pleasant and efficient. The Apartment felt tired. Would not stay again.

Have stayed at this hotel before, and will stay again. Great location, friendly service and massive apartments with plenty of space to dump all of the days shopping before collapsing in the bath. Thoroughly recommend using the in-room massage service. Great for a short stay or longer one. Only draw back is the restaurant not being open for lunch and dinner making it hard to order in a midnight snack, but with plenty of late night takeaways and a 24hr supermarket just around the corner you're never far away from anything.

When we stepped in the hotel suite, our initial comment was "this is bigger than our apartment!" The room was divided into 4 sections, first the dining/kitchenette, then the living room with a study in one corner, then the bedroom, then the walk in robe, and lastly the bathroom. The extra space made the room really comfortable. Everything was neat and clean and the kitchnette had a microwave, fridge, stovetop, cooking utensils, etc. It felt more like an apartment rather than a hotel. The staff was great, they were very efficient during check-in/out, gave us a map of the city and booked our taxis for us. Location-wise, the hotel is quite central and walking distance to most tourist/shopping areas.
