Our family took three rooms for a two night stay. The man at the front desk was not friendly, but other staffers were OK. Hotel is not in a good location. Requires a walk under a highway and then eight long blocks to get to Old Town. On the way back in the evening with everything closed we were uncomfortable going through the deserted areas.
But the biggest problem was the air condtioining. During the night cooling stoped in all three rooms (in Juiy). In spite of flying insects we slept with windows adjar. But the windows only open slightly so we were all miserable and did not sleep. Asked hotel what happened. When they could not give satisfactory answer we left a day early forfeiting our room fees. Could the A/C be on some sort of energy-saving timer that turns off at night?
Too bad - hotel is not bad otherwise. Especially for a smaller town. But we will never return.

We stayed here for 2 nights in late July 2007. The hotel is within walking distance to the center of Koblenz, located by the Rhine river. Parking is available for a fee in a garage on-site. The room had a view of the Rhine river which was nice but the room was on the smaller side and the bathroom was definitely small. The decor could use updating as it was starting to show wear and tear. Breakfast was not included in price and costs about 15 euros. It had hot and cold foods and was adequate.
It's basically a large functional chain hotel that served its purpose without much ambiance.

Stayed in this hotel one night Sept 17, 2007 and found it to be a clean, confortable hotel for the money. Located on the shore of the Rhine River, its a beautiful walk along the river to the local sites. Its a short taxi ride from the train station. We were met at the hotel by a friendly staff and given a lovely room on the back of the hotel. It was very clean, a good size and air conditioned. The staff were helpful with directions and restaurant assistance .Athough the hotel restaurant was open, it did not appear busy at all. We went out to eat but downtown but found that several of the restaurants were closed (a Monday night). In the morning, we were told by the breakfast hostess that the breakfast buffet was included but found out that it was 15 Euros each added to our bill at checkout. The room rate was very reasonable (seniors rate 99 Euros per night) so couldn't complain about the breakfast bill. There's Internet access for a small fee in the lobby. Took the Rhine River steamer cruise down to Wiesbaden (44 Euros each) - was a great day. Would recommend this hotel to stay at in Koblenz.
