We stayed at this hotel for a short city break, and were delighted. Very friendly staff (at checkin, when I asked a really nice room, the receptionist immediately changed us to a room with a grat view over the medieval roofs of Lille). The room was neat, without frills, but very clean, also the bathtub, and the mattress was of good quality. The breakfast buffet was un-french in its rich variety and of a quality we didn't expect in a 2-star, ? 60/night hotel. The location is very central, all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. A better-than-expected experience!
