Great value from Ibis, and a great location right in the city centre. Rooms very clean, not noisy and plenty big enough for two people.
Private underground parking is at the back of the hotel so don't miss the turning!
Very helpful staff, good breakfast (but you might get more atmosphere in the local bars) and comfortable beds.
Good bathrooms with bath and shower.
Nothing flash, but a typical Ibis city hotel which is always a good thing.
I'd stay again without hesitation.

This hotel is right in the centre of Lille, adjacent to the train centre and within a 5 minute stroll of all of the main sights and restaurants. We booked the hotel for 45 Euros a night via their website on the 'Happy 30' rate (advanced booking of 30 days). For such a cheap hotel it was clean (something of a novelty for budget hotels!), small but well-laid out and ideally situated. The rooms are very compact, but use the space well and including all of the usual hotel amenities e.g. TV. The decor of the rooms are a little dated though, and perhaps even a little ugly. The hotel has its own secure underground parking facility for 8 Euros per day, which was useful being so centrally based. I would recommend this hotel to somebody looking for a cheap place to stay during a weekend to Lille.

Excellent budget hotel at the centre of Lille, with lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities within a few minutes walk away. Its own restaurant does a delicious creme brulee!
It has its own secure car park at very reasonable daily rate, which has not changed since I last stayed there about 4y ago! There is at least one other Ibis hotel in Lille with parking, however, I did not fancy the idea of driving through the city centre. This hotel is easy to find on my sat nav, just a short drive coming off the A25.
It is within walking distance from Lille Europe station, which is a little further than the Lille Flandres station just round the corner.
We stayed there for a long weekend during the week at a higher rate than their weekend rate, as it is very popular for business travellers. Our choice, so I cannot grumble at the price. Weekend rate is nearly 30% cheaper, bargain!
The bathroom in our room has a deep bath with a shower mixer, which is the only niggle I had, as I find it awkward to get in and out, and I am an able person! Not for those who have difficulties climbing out of deep baths! As with all Ibis hotels I have stayed in the past, the shower spray is mounted on a riser and is hand-held, which makes better shower experience IMHO.
The services are as good as one expects from any Ibis hotels, no nonsense efficiency.
Great budget hotel from an excellent chain that caters for the budget travellers. Remember to bring your own brew kit if you would like a cup of tea/coffee in your room, and a hairdryer. This advice applies to all Ibis hotels by the way.

A good basic hotel in a quiet, but convenient location close to both the railway stations. This is 'no frills' accommodation at its best. The rooms were very clean and not too cramped. There are no extras such as teamaking facilities or hair dryers, but for a short break, this would be good value for money. Buffet breakfast was adequate with the bread selection being the strongest point.

We stayed here for our last two nights in France and found the location excellent for exploring Lille on foot. Easy to hop on to the road back to Calais via Dunkerque using the motorways that are toll-free. As other reviewers have said this Ibis offers good basic value for money accommodation and Lille itself is a nice place to take a look around. Flunch, next door to the hotel, is a decent place to give a try - not top quality but decent value for money and the cheapest wine we found anywhere except a supermarket (3 euro 20 for 50cl). Enjoy.
