If this Ibis hotel is typical of the chain in France, then it is to be recommended. The room was a good size; so was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet featured a generous selection. The front desk -- although quite busy with business groups -- were kind and helpful. All in all, we were very pleased. The railway station is relatively close; it's near enough that dragging one's luggage over to the hotel is not an endurance test. There is a lot of road construction, however, and a rather confusing overpass nearby; however, it's not impossible to get across to the centre of the city.

Unexpectedly had to stay in Nantes on a Sunday evening. It's an Ibis hotel, so nothing really special, but everything that one needs: clean and functional room and bathroom, okay food, and really good concise service, helpful staff. Best thing is the central location when visiting city centre, right next to the LU tower, a few hundred meters from the Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne and city centre, not so far from train station.

En arrivant sur Nantes, nous avons téléphoné de notre voiture pour réserver une chambre. La réceptionniste très charmante, nous a indiqué qu'il lui restait de la place, et a pris de son temps pour nous guider jusqu'à l'hôtel. A l'arrivée, l'hôtel est super, décoré avec goût, l'equipe est toujours disponible pour ses clients. Ma femme étant fatiguée du voyage, le réceptionniste nous a aidé à monter les bagages dans la chambre. Hôtel très propre. Merci à toute l'Equipe pour ce super séjour.
