I stayed here in December last year for 3 nights. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but sufficient for somewhere to sleep and shower. The bathroom was again functional but very small. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and choice. I would stay here again.

Hotel is located on the main ring road surrounding the centre of the city but as Paderborn is a small place nowhere is really more than a short walk away. Hotel is the standard Ibis fare,nothing too special, nothing really outstanding, just clean and basic. If checking in I would ask for one of the rear facing rooms as the front facing rooms back on to Paderwall/ ring road which can be rather noisy with the window open and believe me you may need this open in the summer as there is no air conditioning. Major plus points: Clean room and shower, comfortable bed, central location and about 15 min walk from the HNF forum/museum. Hotel is about 10 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Free Internet access in lobby with a printer which is handy for a web check in for a return flight! Negatives: Lack of air conditioning!! and noisy corridor areas. (although this is always more a reflection on the types of guests staying in these places) Oh and no Foreign TV channels! I wont grumble at the lack of a in-room safe, as I don't expect to find one in a 2 star hotel chain such as this. Not many options in Paderborn to be fair and the average room rate is around 60 Euro a night here.

To start with lift dint work for the whole of 10days i stayed there. the rooms do not come with towels, soap or any condiments which i think is not great for a person travelling light. It is stuffy no air conditioning which makes it diffcult to sleep. the customer service is mediocre... not the best. breakfast is expensive with hardly very few options. the salads were not changed every day and the fruits were soggy.

I have stayed in Ibis hotels all over Germany and in Spain as they are reasonabley priced and predictable. This was your common garden Ibis with mediocre decor and an over priced bar. I wasn't in for too there for long as I arrived late and left early however I managed to encounter the three most unfriendly staff in that short time! I wouldn't hurry back to this particular Ibis however it wouldn't put me off staying in a different one. Like I say, 'you know where you are with an Ibis'.

Ich war schon in Ibis Hotels in Deutschland und Spanien, da sie recht günstig sind und man immer weiß, woran man bei ihnen dran ist. Dieses hier war ein normales Ibis mit einer durchschnittlichen Einrichtung und einer überteuerten Bar. Ich war nur kurz dort, da ich spät an- und wieder früh abreiste. In dieser kurzen Zeit bin ich dort aber drei sehr unfreundlichen Angestellten begegnet! In diese spezielle Ibis würde ich nicht so schnell wieder gehen, aber ich würde trotzdem weiter in die anderen Ibis Hotels gehen. Wie gesagt, man weiß, woran man bei einem Ibis dran ist!
