Siamo arrivati a questo Ibis senza prenotazione, in una tappa non prevista del nostro viaggio. La posizione e' molto delocalizzata, in zona commerciale con altri alberghi, quindi la sera e' decisamente deprimente e non offre altro che pochi ristoranti. La camera e' stata nella media degli Ibis, la pulizia ottima. Sconsigliato a chi non dispone di mezzi propri per muoversi.

We booked this hotel at Austerlitz rail station in Paris with our train tickets to Nîmes. The hotel is about 5km out of town, in a hotel park for road/business travellers (the highway is nearby). We took a taxi from the rail station, costing about 8€ or so. Standard was lower than expected for an Ibis hotel, being more like a motel. Room was small but comfortable, but one could hear other guests departing in the morning. We were given a double room when we arrived, although we had asked for twin. We were put in a new room with no more than a chuckle from the receptionist. Breakfast was perfectly good - various cereals, croissants, pains-au-chocolat, juices, tea and coffee. Restaurant open late (we got a small snack at about 10.30pm). We would suggest booking a hotel in Nîmes proper, near the rail station, if you are travelling by rail.

The hotel is basic, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, no iron or hairdryer in room. Room small, but clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool very small and not secluded. Not ideal hotel for visiting the town of Nimes (a 10 euro taxi ride each way). However staff helpful and most speak good English.
