I recommend this hotel for: A romantic getaway, Families with teenagers, Families with young children, Girlfriend getaway, Older travelers, Tourists, Young singles, An amazing honeymoon.
My partner and I stayed at the hotel for four nights at the end of April. Location of the hotel is good, situated at the end of the Antigone, with a number of river front restaurants within a five minute walk or 10 minute tram ride to the old town. Parking was 10 euros a night but free parking was available across the road as long as you were up and out (or ready to feed the meter) by 9am. There was a bit of a cue for check in but once seen the agent was friendly and our reservation was processed very quickly with us soon being in our room. The room was very large, clean with a large lounge/kitchen separate bedroom and bathroom. As other reviewers have said there are only paper cups for tea and coffee, and a couple of plastic cups for cold drinks. There is a microwave but with no utensils and plates it’s fairly redundant. A flat screen TV that could be wheeled between the rooms, but with only one English Channel, the awful BBC world. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the lounge wasn’t somewhere you could sit comfortably but for the price it was very good value for money and totally acceptable. All the young staff were very friendly and helpful with requests for ice etc. I would stay there again if visiting Montpellier.

I traveled to Montpellier for business and chose this hotel because of the reviews. The lobby is very nice and modern, with a lovely light self-serve breakfast, and the rooms themselves were very large. However, there were few amenities in the rooms. A microwave and mini fridge, yes, but no plates or silverware in case you wanted to actually eat something in there. No room service. And no irons. I requested an iron at the desk and the clerk said she had already loaned it out to someone. Also, there are no toiletries such as shampoos or soaps, and only two very thin towels in the bathroom. The beds are platform beds with nice duvets, but no top sheets. We had planned to stay here for five nights, but checked out after two and transferred to the Sofitel. In general, this is a perfectly adequate place to stay, but I was looking for something a little more luxurious than what Suitehotel was offering.
