nevpau has stayed here and says:
"Everything was perfect at the Corinthia Grand Royal. All the people working there were nice with us. A big thanks goes to the manager and all his staff. A special thanks from my husband goes to the porters at the door. They were so nice opening the door for us and caring for our little boy. I recommend..."

We stayed in one of their appartment which was just so much better than we hoped for. Although its in the center of town you had complete silence in the center court yard and appartment itself. The price was just amazing, considering it included entry to the spa which is a definite plus after a day of site seeing... or some clubbing the night before. I will defintily stay here again, the staff was friendly and in total just a great few days. If I have to make one negative comment, it would be the location. It is in the center of town, but two block lower towards the river would have been just perfect! Then again the hotel taxis where easy and affordable.

Grand, luxurious, beautiful -- if only the rest of Budapest was so lovely. The breakfast buffet, and the very friendly staff (especially Daniel, who made every morning special with his attentive and gracious service) were particularly impressive.

We stayed at the Corinthia in July 2008 and really liked it. Budapest is such a modestly priced city compared to other European capitals that were able to stay here without breaking the bank. We opted for the Executive Room which gave us access to the Executive Lounge with Internet, free breakfast, snacks throughout the day and beverages (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). It was not much more than a regular room plus breakfast which we like to have at the hotel anyway. The hotel is simply beautiful and the rooms well appointed and maintained. Bathrooms were marble with separate tub and shower. The spa was gorgeous as well. My husband used the sauna and steam room (in a towel) but we were not able to use the pool and hottub because we didn't bring swim suits (been living in Germany too long!) I had good massage which was a little overpriced but on par with what you'd pay at any high class spa. If you're used to massages in the US and their draping procedures, be prepared that Europe is a little different. We've been living in Germany for 4 years now so this was no surprise to me. Hotel location is not the most central but is convenient to the Hop On/Off bus which I highly recommend (it was 94 F when we were there so we limited walking by using this bus). The metro is also close by. Overall, great place that I would recommend!

We stayed at the Corinthia Grand for 3 nights in May and we loved it. The hotel is magnificent and in a great location. We loved the breakfasts which had everything you could want - including champagne ! We found the staff to be very helpful and very friendly. We didn't eat in the hotel but would recommend the restaurants just 5 mins away in Ference Lizst - lots of different styles and those we ate in were excellent. Would also recommend : the hop on hop off bus tour, a boat trip down the Danube and the Labyrinth . Budapest is a beautiful city.
