The Grand Regency Hotel was the first five star hotel in Shandong province and is located near to the busiest area of Qingdao. The Regent Ball Room is the highlight of the hotel; the grand hall is well designed and able to hold up to 800 people. Every month, a Regent Concert is held here. The Ginza Japanese Restaurant is one of the best of its type in town. Besides that, the Peacock Chinese Restaurant and the Food Plaza are both nice Chinese restaurants with comprehensive menus covering most of Shandong's famous dishes and other cuisine from throughout China.
