Roomzzz is a serviced apartment building and not a hotel, but a great place to stay. Very modern, but with wooden floors it can get a little loud at night if people are moving about the building. It is a good size and has everything you could need if you planned to stay a few nights. The distance from the train station and the centre is further than you think and really you need to get a cab which is a negative. There is really nothing close by of any interest but I would recommend staying here as an alternative to a hotel.

I stay a lot in hotels for my job and I was here for 3 weeks. This was an excellent alternative to a limited menu and having to dress up for dinner. The website says exactly what the rooms provide, dishwasher, hob, washing machine and all the cutlery, pots and pans needed to look after yourself. They even provide a dishwasher tablet for your dishes. I enjoyed this stay so much that my next 3 weeks away will be in similar apartment hotels. For photos see the website as they are spot on!

I attended a conference this week in Leeds and WOW, both myself and my colleague were extremeley pleased with the comfort, decor and provision at Roomzzz! We each hired a grand apartment @ no. 2 Burley Road for an overnight stay and couldnt have asked for anything more. On top of that it was only ?3.80 in a black cab from Leeds train station. We paid approx ?90 for each suite, we thought a fantastic price. Everthing in the room was exceptionally clean, fairly stylish and exceedingly homely. We each had in our apartments a washer drier, a fridge, a dishwasher and even a tv that swivelled round so that you could watch it wherever you were in the apartment suite! (Altho maybe not when you're on the loo!!) The 3 quarter fridge not only looked clinically clean but also smelt it, and so I did refridgerate my precious expensive marks and sparks groceries in there as well. (groceries I couldnt afford not to eat- cos I thought they might have been contaminated) I had carefully researched where to stay in Leeds and believe me, when I stumbled tired and laden down with suitcase into my suite, I realised that I had even surpassed my own usual anal and rigid (but) high expectations. Staff at the accommodation were really friendly and helpful and after checking in and going to my allocated suite, I even phoned down to reception immediately o express my delight and approval. A few minutes later after the excitement had worn off, I realised that I felt cold. A minute after my call to reception to request assistance, Jacqui appeared at my door to show me how to use my boost on the radiator. In the bathroom I noted that genuine Dove handwash and real Lux hair and shower gel in hand dispensers were provided in place of the usual assortment of limited or cheap toiletries. The only thing which I did miss tho was the usual obligatory provided showercap since I'd forgotten mine! My only disappoinment was that I was able to stay only one night, I was itching to try out the rest of the appliances and use the quirky and wacky style cutlery in the kitchen drawer; but I have promised myself that I'll do all that next time during a longer stay at Roomzzz! Home from Home Trust me, the people in an apartment adjacent to mine even made a bit of the typical noise that you can get from the neighbours at home, but even that was shortlived! Stay here, Im specifically looking to attend some more work functions in Leeds asap so that I can! PS- Especially felt good when on the train back I heard someone complaining to her colleague of having to call for hotel staff to remove a cockroach from her room in a well known Leeds hotel!!

I stayed two nights (dec 16-17) in this hotel. The room was large more like an executive suite, fully furnished with dining area that had a refridgerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and also included all the latest in utensils for entertaining a small group of friends. The room also had widescreen plasma television. The room is exquisitely designed and looks like a pad that any bacthelor would enjoy. It is perfect for the business traveller since it has eveything one needs for conducting business (work area with internet acccess), entertaining, or just relaxing. I was truely impressed.
