The Capella Hotel at Castlemartyr is an elegant Country House experience. The 13th Century Castle dominates your approach drive into the 220 acre estate. You then drive by the lake and waterfall past the castle walls to the front of the Manor House. Your entry will be into the Main Hall with warm greetings from the hotel manager. You are then introduced to the Dining Rooms magnificent cocktail and Whiskey bar and the Capella Living Room. This becomes your private residential area during your stay with us. Our Guests rooms and Suites -103 in total- have state of the art sophistication with warm charming d?cor and top class linens and amenities. All rooms will have differing views over the estate lake golf course and formal gardens. The Spa -16.000 square feet- will be a world class facility and feature a fantastic double height ceiling over the main indoor heated pool 24 hour gym and couples treatment suite. The Golf course is an 18 hole inland links course designed by Mr Ron Kirby.Our world class Head Chef will use local produce much of it organic and add a modern dimension to produce a gourmet experience talked about and revered for miles around. Guests can look forward to a boat trip on the lake taking our house dogs for a walk around the estate a digestif by the pit fire in the Castle grounds a horse and carriage ride through the estate a short walk into the village pub or an entire stay tucked up in your bathrobe re-discovering the simple art of relaxation.
