We stayed one night in Curitiba on our way from Rio to Foz do Iguacu. The hotel was clean and efficient, and the included breakfast was good. We rented a suite, which was a spacious 2-room accomodation including a small living area with couch, a table, and mini-bar. While not luxurious, it was very comfortable, other than the fact that the mattress was a little old and saggy. This hotel is located around the corner from Rua 24 Horas (a sort of half-indoor, half-outdoor mini mall with restaurants and shops that is open 24 hours a day) and about one block away from Rua das Flores, a pedestrian mall with (of course) flowers, restaurants, and shops. It is within easy walking distance of the historic portion of the city. Transportation to and from the airport is very inexpensive on the Executivo Omnibus, which stops around the corner at the Rua 24 Horas.

I tried almost every good hotel in Curitiba and without any doubt the Deville is the Best of all. I always stay on a deluxe apt in the second tower (Rua 24 Horas. The staff are friendly, the apartment are large and well decorated, fast room service, great location and amazing breakfast. I will never look for another hotel in Curitiba.

I had the pleasure in staying at the Deville Curitiba last October. I had a deluxe apartment, with a large and bright separate living and dining room, sliding doors to the bedroom and an enourmous bathroom with a walk in shower and a bidet! The room was located in the Torre 24 horas, the back tower. The room is very quiet, decorated in beautiful bright colours. The toiletries are not from any well known brand, but you get everything, including nail file, cotton buds, etc. The buffet breakfast is absolutely amazing, lots of different cakes and breads and juices. The lobby is dark and old, but the service is great. Location is fantastic, you are between the posh and trendy Batel area and Rua XV, the pedestrian area. I am returning to Curitiba in November and this time I have reserved a bi-level honeymoon suite and I am sure that it will be amazing!
