Stayed for a week in June 2008 at the Alexander. I had a very pleasant experience. Location - great location as it is steps from the beach and the port. It can get a bit noisy on Thursday and Friday nights, mostly due to honking cars waiting to park, but the hotel's windows are pretty solid so you don't really hear the noise that much. The hotel is also very close to the entrance to the Ayalon (a couple of miles), the main highway running through Tel Aviv. Room - The room, or should I say Suite, was very spacious, with a large kitchen with a large refrigerator, microwave, and lots of cabinets. The bedroom and living had flatscreen TVs. The bathroom is big, although be careful with the tub. If you are elderly please note that the bath is narrow and is quite high so be careful! The ladies who cleaned the room did a fabulous job. Breakfast - The hotel is small, so you aren't going to get the breakfast that other Tel Aviv hotels are famous for. That said, the breakfast has enough to satisfy, with a guy making eggs, fresh squeezed juice and lots of coffee. Parking - The hotel was able to give me a parking spot for $20 per night. Staff - The staff was very friendly. There were some problems with the room availability when I was trying to check in, but other than that everything was fine. Internet - Wireless internet in the suites is free! A very nice addition to the price. I would definitely recommend the Alexander for families who want to stay in Tel Aviv near the beach but also need some space. I will definitely stay there again.

Its hard to find decent accommodation in Israel that's a reasonable price, relatively modern, with friendly staff and good for a family. We found it at the Alexander Suites. Firstly location, location, location right next to the Namal. It was great because we could walk there for a coffee or dinner. Its pretty quiet there at night so we managed to get a good nights sleep. The beds and linen were so comfortable and our 2 bed unit was very stylishly decorated. We had LCD TVs in all rooms with cable TV. The breakfasts were a great Israeli breakfast with fresh juice, breads, cheeses, salads, eggs etc. Its Glatt kosher as well so if you keep kosher this is the perfect spot to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful which can be hard to find in Israel. They also stored our luggage when we went to Eilat. The only issue is parking as they don't have a car park, but there is one behind the hotel and we parked there for 25 shekels a day and a bit more on the weekend. All in all, a great experience. Well done to the management and staff. FInally somewhere great to stay in Tel Aviv.

We arrived at 8:00 am and we were told that they would get us a room as soon as possible. We went down to the beach for a coffee and chilled out! After walking around we were quite tired and returned to the Alexander were they gave us an amazing room at 09:30 am and didn't charge any extra. The room was amazing and we wished that we had booked for longer. Its a great position 5 mins to the beach. The was a welcome bottle of water in the fridge and chocolates. Service was amazing great hotel highly recommend!!

My wife and i stayed at the Alexander Suites Hotel and simply fell in love with it! This was our 4th visit to Tel Aviv and we were reffered here by our friends, who are regular guests of the Alexander. We took the Luxury Suite- which was beautifully decorated and recently refurbished. We LOVED the style and the space that we had (55 square meters!). In addition, the suite has all one can ask for- kitchen, large bathroom and cable tv (LCD screen in each room). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the Reception team did a great job for us and the cleaning staff were very good as well in keeping our suite cleana and tidy every day. All that, and the BEST location in the city. The Alexander Suites is only 2 minutes walk (if that) to the old-port area, which is the hottest place in town. A short walk will take you to the upscale shopping area of Dizengoff Street and Hayarkon Park which is superb for walking/jogging and cycling. By the way - you can rent bikes at the hotel's Reception desk.... We highly recommend the Alexander Suites for anyone visiting Tel Aviv.
