We stay in Philadelphia frequently. We chose the Westin for our recent stay. As a starwood preferred guest, we were given a room on a special floor. The bed was fantastic, the room clean, modern, comfortable. Only minor drawback was the limited late-night in-room dining options. As good as some other hotels in the same price range (sofitel) and much better than others (marriot, lowes). The staff was helpful and pleasant enough. My wife is now committed to using the Westin exclusively when we visit Philly.

Simply an amazing hotel. All of the staff was great. The hotel was beautiful and in a super location. Quick and easy access to the train station.
I stayed for two nights on business and loved it. The lounge area is pleasant and comfortable. The room was stylishly appointed and room service was quick and the food was very good.
The best part was that I named my own price on Priceline and paid $157/night rather than the advertised $349.
Will definitely stay again.

We got a great rate thru Priceline. We were on the 6th floor with the front view. When we pulled into valet parking, they were the best we had ever met. It was costly but well worth it. Because the hotel is close to everything, we did not need to use our car. Check in was wonderful also. Everyone was nice and helpful.
The room was very clean and spacious. Well worth the 4 star quality. The beds were the best we had ever slept on at a hotel. The TV picture quality was great. Even the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a very good location to all the shopping, public transportation, entertainment and dining.
In order to get to your rooms, you had to catch one set of elevators to the lobby and then get on another set of elevators to go to your room. This was for secutiry purpose and we were glad that they did it like this.
We did not have any complaints to report with the Westin. We would definately stay there again.

Can you imagine to come back to your room after a hard working day, opening your safe box and it doesn't open anymore? Okay, you call the front desk and inform them. They told me: "we know, we've changed your code, we'll send security." The security guy came with a piece of paper, entered a new code and the box was open. I asked him if I forgot to close my safe and for security they closed it. He answered "No, it has been closed. We've opened it...and since we didn't know your code we had to enter another one." I've been shocked! How can a hotel open my safe box?
Also the rest of the Westin wasn't nice. Even I've got a Platinum Card of Starwood the room was the smallest I ever saw, Internet wasn't free etc. Only after I complained they offered to change the room for a bigger one.
I'm sure there're better places to stay in Phili.
