"What a great stay. We booked the hotel online only two days in advance, and received an online discount! We've travelled Europe quite a bit in the past two years, and we got much more than we expected for the lower than average price. All told, the included breakfast, spacious room, balcony with a..."

We stayed 2 nights at the BW Schwartzwald and were delighted with the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean with lovely views of the town. Breakfast was good and we ate at the hotel 1 evening and the food was good although the menu was limited. The hotel is at the top of a hill but it is a pleasant walk back or there is street parking down in the town. We would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights to break a long drive from Austria to UK and to sample the Black Forest. Reception isn't manned a lot of the time but somebody comes quickly if you ring the bell. Our welcome was entirely in German which was good practice and concentrated the mind. The staff understand English but stay in German until you surrender. And why not? Parking is secure and off-road on 2 underground floors. The room was spacious with a large balcony and a view over the town. The bathroom was large too although the shower had the strangest shaped head on it. Fine for washing a car but easy to wet the whole floor as well. Amusingly there was a water meter on the wall so you can see how much water you're using. Very green. Restaurant downstairs had unadventurous standard menu but the food was of high quality and reasonably priced. Continental breakfast was fine, although the cooked offerings looked congealed and greasy. Overall a very pleasant stay. It is worth noting that the town centre (and famous waterfall) is about half a mile away downhill. To return to the hotel from almost anywhere you will have a significant uphill walk, so maybe you might not want to do it too many times in a day,

Just returned from a very nice 2 night stay at the Best Western Triberg. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We had 2 rooms (we booked late, so there were no family rooms available) and both were very large with good beds. The swimming pool was a very nice feature which our kids (5 & 7) loved. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. The familiy are vegetarian so this was really good. The only slight downside was that for the 2 nights we stayed there was no vegetarian (or pescatarian) choice in the on-site restaurant. However, we just went into town (be warned without a car it would be a long walk up-hill back to the hotel) and found somewhere to eat. On the whole we thought the hotel very good (far better than the price we paid would seem to suggest!) and loved the area. I would definately recommend this hotel to others.

The efficient and professional reception staff set the tone for a blemish free holiday. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated, with flat screen televisions and tiled bathrooms. Everything was spotless. Every single room has a balcony with flowers in the summertime. There is even a small indoor pool. The breakfast buffet was typical of German hotels, but very large and fresh. We had no difficulty finding the hotel, it is visible high above the noise and traffic of the town on the side of a hill. There were also small signs in the town directing you toward it's location. There is a free parking garage beneath the hotel. The size of the spaces are typical for German parking garages, perhaps even a bit more generous :) Overall, a most wonderful and relaxing stay. We already have reservations for our return visit!

The hotel is an above average Best Western with a great view. The rooms were large and clean. The onsite restaurant was nothing special and not memorable. I found the receptionist / waitress to be a little snobbish but all in all the hotel was Ok. I stayed in better for less money.
