This hotel has been lovingly cared for with its location and original beauty well preserved. Our stay was not long enough and we will return for a longer visit to this beautiful area along the Rhein. Our room was large, immaculate, overlooked the Rhein with a nice balcony and all services were available. We loved the village itself and the staff was helpful with dining suggestions. It is a larger hotel than we usually prefer but we loved every minute.

I have traveled to the Rhine River area many times, but this was my first stay in Boppard. However, it will not be my last, as I absolutely loved this hotel! I booked an extra large double room with front terrace facing the Rhine River, and I was not disappointed. The room was charming yet modern, large, comfortable and had a great bathroom. It had lots of closet space, huge flat-screen TV, and fairly good mattress. Electrical outlets were good and well-placed in room and bathroom. Best of all, I had a huge terrace, complete with bistro tables and outdoor fireplace overlooking the Rhine. It appeared to be shared by four rooms, but too bad I was the only one using it. Weather was warm and sunny, and lounging on the terrace was the most relaxing and enjoyable part of my trip. I did spend a little more to get this room, but if you can swing it, I highly recommend it. Otherwise, I did get some peeks into the other rooms, and they all looked very nice. Front desk staff was also great. Next time I will stay longer, as there are so many towns to explore along the Rhine and Mosel, with easy train and boat connections. GO, you won't be sorry!

What a welcome surprise! This classy hotel way beyond our expectations. We travelled with our 20 month old daughter and this hotel was amazing. Not only was the room huge, the location was fantastic. Even though our room had a city view, we still got to appreciate the wonderful location of this hotel directly on the Rhein. The hotel also offers babysitting and the babysitter was lovely. Highly recommend this distinguished establishment with fairytale charm.

This is such a nice hotel. The view of the Rhine is worth the extra dollars they charge. (I recommend taking a Rhine cruise from the dock right in front of the hotel.) They also have a beautiful and very unique pool and spa area. The food was excellent, service prompt, if not always the friendliest. The only negative was the problem of smoke. There is no way to avoid the cigarette smoke even though they have no-smoking rooms. It seems to permeate the whole hotel. It helped to be able to open the windows. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.

My wife and I have been staying at the Bellevue Rheinhotel since our first stay in 1985! We love it, and have taken our small tour groups there thru the years... they all love it. It is clean, friendly, and comfortable. It is elegant, the breakfasts are superb, the staff excellent, and the location is the prime location in the village. Boppard is also our favorite Rhine village, unlike most of the Rhine villages, the train tracks are NOT along the Rhine here, but go further behind the village. As a result, this lovely hotel sets right on the promanade and the river, with the large K-D liner moored at the front door overnight, with 9AM departures up the Rhine. PERFECT!
