Originally located through the main travel websites, but not able to link to their booking online, we went to the hotel's own website, called and booked on the phone. Just get a confirmation number or call back to confirm your booking again for phone bookings. We had a glitch, but it worked out when we got there fortunately.
The hotel itself is very simple, clean, and the staff is friendly. The front desk usually has an English speaker.
We had a nice inclusive breakfast each day. Combination of table service and buffet style. Available was cereal, muesli, coffee, tea, eggs, some meats., toast, fruit, etc. The wait staff was attentive and all involved. This is where you don't mind tipping extra because they deserve it.
The food was good at dinner too! Nice fresh food, nice size portions.
You may eat outside in front of the hotel under the patio umbrellas too.
Take note the hotel itself is located directly across the soccer/football stadium, and corners the street that has the tram line. There is a night watchman, and you are able to park your car in front of the hotel. We give it "above average" rating for accommodating customer service. Nice desk staff, dining room/kitchen staff, and housekeeper. The watchman will help with your bags up the stairs, since there are no elevators. We almost missed breakfast one day, but they so kindly brought up a tray of hot beverages and pastries and toast and jam.
