A return trip after 2 years .... and the hotel was as good as we remembered. The restaurant has been refurbished - we used it for breakfast only and used the bar area for one meal in the evening. On our other 2 evenings we ate out. The room was extremely comfortable and very quiet, and we loved the modern aspect of the bathrooms. The hotel is about 10 mins from the main station, and has a tram stop between 1 and 2 mins away. I am sure we will return here again when we are in Zurich.

As other travelers have pointed out, the bathroom arrangement takes a lot of getting used to, even when you are alone in a room. I took me ages to find out how the lighting system works, was even afraid I would have to sleep with the lights on. The hotel should absolutely provide an explanation of how it works. Also, I would have much preferred wall-to-wall carpeting instead of the bare wooden floor, but I presume it is more hygienic. Otherwise everything fine, it has some nice touches like a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules. Travelers please take note that most Swiss hotels still have not understood that air-conditioning now is a must - this hotel has it. In Summer, this alone justifies the quite steep price (a good breakfast is also included). Location for shoppers and visitors to the banks could not be better.

Nice enough hotel smack in the centre of Z?rich close to the main shopping street Bahnhofstrasse. It's clean and tidy and the staff are helpful, but it's nothing to get too excited about. The breakfast buff? is a bit poor. I'd give it 3? stars.

You will feel at home here, excellent service. The best location.
