The hotel is in the old city of Bern, a 5 minute walk from the train station and just steps from a plaza by the parliment which is lined with restaurants. I had a problem with the Orbitz reservation but the hotel was extremely responsive. It responded to my emails before arrival and, although they had no record of my payment to Orbitz, responded by email within 24 hrs after checkout to tell me the situation was resolved. My single room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient and offered several selections. The hotel is not luxurious but I felt safe and welcome. My room overlooked the street and there was some noise (late night partiers walking by) but I didn't feel this was a problem. A general problem everywhere in the city is that there are no smoking restrictions: I think the hotel has a nonsmoking floor so you might try to book one of those rooms if this is a concern. I would definitely stay there again.

Good location near pedestrian area in Bern and within walking distance of many attractions such as the clock tower and church as well as fountains throughout the city. The hotel room itself was sparsely decorated and pretty small. Continental breakfast was basic with cold cereals, rolls and juice – nothing spectacular. All and all, I'd say the entire experience was average.

Dies ist ein tolles Hotel, die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, man bekommt sogar einen Willkommens-Drink beim Einchecken. Es gibt kostenlosen Internetzugang, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, man ist in ausgezeichneter Lage direkt neben dem Parlamentsgebäude und dem Marktplatz. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Ich würdes dieses Hotel mit absoluter Sicherheit jedermann empfehlen.

Questo è uno splendido hotel...lo staff è MOLTO cordiale, offrono anche un "welcome drink" all'arrivo. L'accesso ad internet è gratuito, le camere sono molto pulite, è in una splendida posizione proprio vicino al parlamento nella piazza principale, la colazione era eccellente, lo consiglio senza dubbi a tutti.
