Came to N?mes for a concert at the famed Arena, but all the hotels in the town centre were fully booked except for those situated in the suburbs, where the Best Western Nimotel is. The price is okay and the rooms were the standard 3-star type of rooms (clean, spacious, excellent bathroom, flat-screen TV, helpful reception) expected of the Best Western chain. The reception staff were kind enough to let us check out an hour later as well. Friendly folk. My main gripe is the distance from the centre -- some reviews said that it was only a 30 min walk, but when we tried to walk, it took more than an hour! The bus runs until only 8pm, so the only other option to get back to the hotel after 8pm is to take a cab.

Abbiamo prenotato 2 camere per un soggiorno di una notte alla fine di agosto. Questo hotel è molto essenziale. Abbiamo dovuto cambiare una delle due camere perché puzzava. Le camere non erano arredate in modo gradevole. In alcuni punti la carta da parati era strappata. Il tappeto non sembrava pulito e c'erano macchie sparse. Le lenzuola andavano bene per me ma non penso che fossero pulite al 100% visto come tenevano la camera. Il bagno era piccolo ma la pressione della doccia andava bene. L'aria condizionata in camera funzionava bene e raffreddava i locali abbastanza per i mesi estivi. Questo hotel non è in una posizione centrale, ma a una certa distanza dalla città di Nimes. Va bene se avete un'auto e c'è un Carrefour e un McDonald nelle vicinanze. Lo consiglio se avete un budget limitato e non vi aspettato un hotel bello. La pulizia è tollerabile!

Booked 2 rooms for a night stay at end of August. This is a very basic hotel. We had to change one of the rooms as there was a smell in it. The rooms are not pleasantly decorated. Some of the wallpapers are torned. The carpet does not look clean with stains all over. The bed sheets are alright to me but I don't think they are 100% clean looking at how they kept the room. The toilet is small but comes with a good shower pressure. The air-conditioning in the room is good though, cool enough for the summer months. This hotel is not located in the central, still a distance to Nimes city. Good if you have car and there's a Carrefour and McD nearby. Recommended if you are on a budget and dont fancy nice hotels. The cleanliness is tolerable!

Après un accueil déplorable, nous avons obtenu les clés et ouvert la porte de notre chambre qui compte tenu de l'odeur de renfermé qui y régnait n'avait pas été aérée depuis plusieurs jours. Le ménage avait été fait de façon plus que partiel (nous avons même trouvé un coton-tiges usagé laissé par les précédents 'locataires' au pied du lit...écoeurant !!) Sans compter la porte des toilettes qui ne fermait pas, la chasse d'eau qui fuyait, la porte de la penderie dégondée ou encore les abats jour déchirés. Les femmes de chambre ne prennent pas la peine de frapper et entrent directement sans aucune gêne. En conclusion, un hôtel qui n'est pas prêt de nous revoir et que nous ne conseillons à personne.

The room and hotel we arrived at were COMPLETELY different to what you are shown on the website. I always check out the pictures of the rooms before booking a hotel and on the website, it APPEARS to be clean and charming. We got there and it was disgusting. I told my daughter not to TOUCH anything in the room, even the blankets were stained. The wallpaper was coming off, there were holes in the closests, stains on the walls, blankets and especially the carpet, it smelled and the bath was full of crunge and the shower curtain not to be touched by a ten foot pole! A terrible experience, felt completely ripped off by website pictures, told all the rooms were the same. Hated going there to sleep. NOT A THREE STAR AS IT SUPPOSEDLY CLAIMS!
