My family stayed in two inter-connecting rooms for 4 nights. The staff were welcoming and meals good but we found the hotel very noisy with children running screaming through the hall ways until late at night. In addition the walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbours in the adjoining bathroom. Rooms on the small size considering the room rate. We would not return to this hotel.

We just came back home from an exciting Mont Blanc Tour. We have had a wonderful week around this great mountain. On the third day we decided to have a luxury break reserving a double room at the Romantik Hotel Villa Novecento. Everything was great, food, rooms, staff and so on, and we did not exceed our budget as they quote us a "special rate for randonneurs" We highly recommend this stage. Thanks Chris & Emy Burningam

We did a short ski trip in Courmayeur and deliberately chose this hotel. People are very friendly and professional. Food was very good and choice on the wine card is broad. Collazione is also at the top. Ski shuttle to ski lift was always on time. A place to be recommended to future guests. Center is only 4 min walk. Alain Costantini - Brussels

Villa Novencento is a lovely, cosy, cute hotel. The staff are really lovely and helfpul and very friendly. The room was lovely and I loved the live chicks in reception for Easter! It's about a 5 min walk from the cable car but there's a typically Italian, very friendly man called Mario who's there to give you a lift so you don't have to walk if you're tired. It's got pretty fairy lights outside so it is actually romantic at night! and it has amazing views of the mountains around. There's lots of choice for a cold breakfast but might be nice to have something warm if you're going up to the slopes!

The best hotel on the Italian slopes

I have been fortunate enough to work for some truly international organisations over the years and have travelled the length and breadth of our globe. I have stayed at some of the most impressive hotel chains in the world but can honestly say that this charming, family run hotel on the foothills of the Italian Alps is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. No task was too small or too great. I had an accident on my first day skiing and they were fantastic. They organised to take me on piste, arranged all my hospital journeys, prepared any food the children needed and it really felt like being home away from home. Stefano and his team of staff, including Carmen, “Super” Mario, Garye and all the others to numerous to mention were a cheer delight. We were so impressed that we are re-booking for next year already!!! Steve Lazarous
