Returned here for a two night stay. Modern decor - Rooms comfortable and good shower / bathroom. A bit average though as a hotel - OK for passing through. No hot food for breakfast and no restaurant, although 24hr snacks. A bit pricey in relation to similar 3* hotels in la Rochelle.

Excellent location when you arrived by train, almost "just around the corner". Within walking distance of the old town, harbor, buses for Ile de R?. Although it looks like the **B&B from outside, once you get in, you really feel that you are in a *** star hotel: the girl at the reception was one of the nicest I have seen : polite, smiling, friendly. The rooms are probably the best ones in town. Just there was a strange smell in the room, not sure where it did come from. The bed is excellent. My only concern would be for older people to get into the bath as it is very high. It is trendy, the good way: non smoking environment, organic products, nice duvet, ... They should lower their rate for single occupation a little bit, at least when it is slow...I would stay more often... ;-)

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights beginning of october, arrived in La rochelle by train and hotel is 5 minutes walk from station in nice quiet but convenient area. The outside of the hotel looks like it would be more at home in California, inside is very sleak and stylish. Found all the staff extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. Only problem we had was our oh so stylish bathroom plug kept sticking but as soon as we alerted reception to this, they fixed it. I will be returning to this hotel.

Stayed here for just one night en route to Ile de Re. Friendly, polite and efficient staff. Very comfortable and trendy hotel. Quiet location, but close to station, restaurants, shops and harbour. Excellent. Would strongly recommend.
