We are regular guests here and we have always found the family friendly and helpful. The price point is very low considering ?49.95 is for two people a night including an English breakfast. Our room has always been warm and the Inn has a roaring log fire in the bar. Meals are good value and one night a week there is a good bottle of wine free with two main courses ordered. The rooms have always been clean and although the bathrooms are ready for a refit we have been able to take a hot shower, coffee and tea in the rooms as well as water at all times. We used to stay at the Holiday Inn but found this a noisy hotel and extremely small rooms with beds that were less than comfortable for the grandios price of ?85 plus a night---where are the offers that are advertised in the papers--we have never had a room offered at the low price at the Holiday Inn. If you want value for money and in this area then I can recommend this Inn for a night.

I stayed here back in September and was really disappointed - the unfriendly service, the cold room and the poor state of some of the furniture/bathroom all contributed. I was only there for 1 night as I was at a wedding nearby but I couldn't recommend it to anyone I'm afraid. There must be better places to stay nearby.....
