Recently stayed at the Anne Boleyn on company business, very disappointed with the facilities on offer. Food was terrible, the bedrooms, restaurants and reception areas were all in need of updating and the staff generally unhelpful. As a regular business traveller, I expect some comfort but unfortunately you won't find any here !

The hotel has real character and the staff really made me feel welcome. I was given a room with a four poster bed, which was delightful. The food in both indian and chinese restaurants was excellent. The most pleasing part of the stay was the exceptional service and the location. I stayed over as my company booked a christmas party, the party was great and well organised, considering there were over 150 people attending. I definetely recommened the hotel for weekend break or a private party.

This hotel was booked for me through my workplace and unfortunately I had to stay there on two separate occasions. On both occasions the room I stayed in (a different one on each occasion) was sub-standard. They do not have duvets on the beds, only a sheet and some sort of fake wool blanket. I requested an extra blanket which didn't arrive and on both nights, I woke up freezing. The first time I stayed there I was put in a room on the ground floor right next to reception and the Chinese restaurant which meant that I found it hard to sleep. The second time I stayed, the walls were thin enough that I could hear the television in the next door room. The television in my room was tiny, and the bathroom was dusty. The towels were threadbare and small.
The breakfast was not good, the croissants were stale and they served Happy Shopper yogurts.
On the first night I ordered an orange juice and soda water from the bar, they poured the orange juice directly from a 49p carton from a discount supermarket (the price was on the carton) and charged me £2.80.
It wouldn't bother me if the hotel was cheap but my company paid £85 for a single room for one night therefore it really isn't value for money

I recently stayed at this Hotel during a business trip and found the staff from the receptionist right through to the bar staff very friendly and helpful .
After my second day the bar manager knew what i was drinking and would bring the drink to my table when i was engaged in my work, and was even able to order my dinner menu from the bar rather than in the 2 splendid restauarants it has to offer ( indian and chineese ),and the bar manager let me know when the food was ready allowing me to head to the restaurant once it was about to be served saving me time .
the rooms were clean and tidy as one would expect from a Hotel, bar and restaurants had a nice pick you up decour nicely delightfully decorated .
The receptionist arranged my wake up calls and taxis for me and notified myself in the breakfast bar once they arrived .
A big thankyou to all the staff who made me feel welcome and see you next time i`m here on business .
