This is a marvellously well-preserved sixteenth century structure which looks out towards the towers and churches that pierce the Cortona skyline. The ten vacation apartments are dominated by the original building with its stone tower, wide balcony and external staircase. The setting is private and tranquil, with a wealth of flowering plants in the beautifully-kept garden and a large lawn with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. The garden boasts a large, state-of-the-art swimming pool (16x8m) which is equipped with comfortable sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and a shower everything you need to enjoy a relaxing day basking and sunbathing, and enjoying the panoramic view of Cortona. The ten apartments, which sleep either four or two guests, are tastefully and elegantly decorated; with ancient terracotta floor and ceiling tiles, and traditional fittings and furnishings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The overall effect is warm and welcoming a timeless retreat where you can get away from the stresses of the 21st century.
