I stayed here for 3 nights fo business. The hall of the hotel is very nice but standard rooms are not so luxurious. Clean and spacious rooms.The view of my room was quite bad but for a business stay is a good option in Thessaloniki.

I stayed at Mediterranean palace for tree nights. It was really magnificent! Very nice view at the harbour .... At night it was very romantic. (Extra charge for sea view). Very nice location in the city center. You should taste their breakfast ... Delicious.

Bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt in Thessaloniki haben wir ein Special-Package im Mediterranean Palace buchen können. Dieses beinhaltete Übernachtung inkl. Frühstück für 2 Personen, einen Mietwagen von Herz ( direkt am Airport ) sowie Parken in der Hotelgarage für 129 € je Nacht. Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage (direkt im Hafen, der Strasse vom Flughafen einfach Richtung City folgen und so lange auf dieser Strasse bleiben, bis es links zum Hafen geht), ist 7 Stockwerke hoch und besitzt einen Wellness-Bereich (nicht getestet) und einen Internetraum (kostenlos incl. Farbdrucker). Im Erdgeschoss ist u.a. das Restaurant untergebracht, in welchem es ein tolles und umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffett gibt. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr elegant eingereichtet und alle (?) Zimmer verfügen über einen Balkon. Die Zimmer sind recht geräumig, unheimlich sauber und das Bad ist perfekt ausgestattet (inkl. Zahnbürste / Bademantel etc.). Das TV-Programm ist überschaubar (ca. 15 Kanäle, u.a. Bloomberg TV, Sat 1), was jedoch nicht wirklich ins Gewicht fällt. Kurz gesagt ... bei einem Aufenthalt in Thessaloniki gibt es für uns keine Alternative ... wir kommen wieder, keine Frage !

I stayed at the hotel in September for business. The rooms were a good size but with a lot of noise (the Hotel is in front of the port gates and near a very busy street). You cannot see the sea unless you are in a high floor. I wasn't entirely satisfied with food (particularly breakfast). The hotel staff could be more friendly as well. Overall, I was expecting a bit more of a 5 star Hotel.
