Not very noiseproof

I stayed here for three nights in April. I agree with the reviewer about the noisy AC. Also, the doors make a lot of noise (people tend to slam them), and they're not made of a very soundproof material. They also don't have that rubber rim that would prevent people from slamming them shut and literally disturbing my sleep. In addition to this, the hotel has such great acoustics that I could hear the kids yelling down the hall in the lounge on each floor near the elevators. Even one guy was talking loudly on his cell in the stairwell next to my room, and I could hear it via the door (the sound actually bypassed the thick concrete wall separating us). As a light sleeper, I would not stay here again unless they fix the door problems.

Centrally located on Dizengoff Square and a block away from Dizengoff Center shopping mall. Endless assortment of shops, cafes, and restaurants all around and open all hours, including Saturday. 10 minutes walk to the sea, or quick cab ride. Quiet location as its on a side street with limited access to cars. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. I stayed in a single room that was very spacious. Only downside, it did not have a hairdryer. Cleaning staff is excellent. Nicely decorated room with paintings and wall mural. Slow elevator. The internet in the lobby is overpriced. If you dont have your own computer, just go to an internet place. A 24 hour market is across Dizengoff Square--useful if you're staying for a long period of time. Rooms have mini fridge and front desk has a microwave for use. I would definitely stay here again.

my two daughters, their husbands and i stayed in the center hotel in tel aviv for a week.
the hotel was recommended to us by a dear friend as a comfortable place in the center of town, not too expensive and with pleasant atmosphere.
all five of us have travelled extensively and are not always easily pleased. in this case we definitely were very pleased.
the location of the hotel is excellent, right on dizengoff street with lots of shops and eateries and cafe's for sitting and watching the people.
ten minutes walk to the beaches, and on tuesday- and friday morning about fifteen minutes from the artist market.
our family could reach us easily by car as well as by bus.
the staff in the hotel was remarkably pleasant, competent and always helpful.
the rooms were quite artistic, bauhaus-style, very clean and comfortable. we especially enjoyed the balcony.
the israeli breakfast in the cinema hotel, opposite our hotel was
excellent, also there the staff was competent and very helpful.
we are planning to go again in september for another chatoena in our family and are already looking forward to another great time.
wishing you a good stay too, mrs. rita serphos, leiden, the netherlands.

Small, cute hotel... good for single person coming off of jetlag! Very small room, but had refrig and electric teapot and cable TV. Beautiful bathroom with tub. No hairdryer in room, but one available at desk. Wonderful buffet breakfast included at historic, partner hotel next door... but took time for the food to be brought out, so don't get there too early and more will be available. The people behind the desk were very helpful. I would stay here again. Stay up high for view of Tel Aviv... they have an elevator.
