Stayed here during July 2007 with my wife and two teenage daughters. Overall disappointing compared to its apperance on its website. There was little bar area which was very disappointing. The rooms however were nice and comfortable and airy with very nice clean bathrooms. Breakfast was nice. Staff were not very clear and not overly friendly either. Its nicely situated opposite a swimming pool and leisure centre. There was a terrible smell from between the reception and the stairs to the rooms. Unsure to what it was but had to run through it every time. Overall....average stay.

This hotel was very good value for money and I got the impression that they are really trying their best. Little things such as the courtesy bus to and from the station are useful and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was OK, nothing special and being on the main road was a little noisy but I managed to sleep. It is certainly an hotel that I would consider again if I were in the area and all credit to the new management who seem to be working hard to make this into a very good hotel. I do not think that anyone staying there would be disappointed.

Just stayed here the one night on a saturday. Check-in a bit troublesome as the receptionist didn't speak very good english!! Tried to put us in a room with someone else, and got the rate wrong. :(
You can use the nice gym just over the road. We had a swim and a steam which we enyoyed. We also had room service, a sandwich and fries, which was very nice. Room was in the new part of the hotel and was perfectly adequate, quite modern plain decor. Really good shower. Had complemantary tea & coffee making facilites, + a bottle of water. Mini bar, trouser press, hairdryer, bed was comfy.
Breakfast was your usual buffet style, restaurant was a little tired, but food above average.
We found the aviation memrobilia very interesting and visited the old croydon airport next door which again we found very interesting.
We would recommend this hotel

I stayed for one night at the Aerodrome on business.
I was put in a room that had clearly recently been refurbished. I could tell this because it obviously hadn't been finished yet. But it was clean and everything worked. The internet in the room is pricey, and the fancy TV system doesn't really work very well but when it does you have lots of channels to choose from.
The restaurant is nothing special, but we enjoyed our meal. Service was prompt.
I don't think the Hotel is very well placed for people visiting the centre of London as you are cut off from most of the transport links, but if you are here on business this place is much better than the Hilton that is across the road,
