We stayed here while at the British Grand Prix. When we arrived there that evening we were told that there was no food left so we had to find some other arrangements. On the saturday night there was a 50th anninversary, the noise coming from the function suite and the people at the party was unbelievable. The suite was in amongst all the guest rooms which seems really stupid! We got 3 hours sleep that night and the staff were useless, i complained to the manager and not once did i hear the word 'sorry'. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, i did not enjoy my stay here at all and would only stay here as a last resort, i'm pretty sure it would have been quieter sleeping on the streets, although it is wolverhampton!!!

I have stayed here while visiting Wolverhampton several times now.
Rooms are a bit small, and look a little dated, but the staff are usually very nice and I have never found any major problems with the hotel or the service. I usually stay here as it's the cheapest hotel close to the centre of Wolverhampton, but the price seems to have increased to the point that I will probably stay somewhere else next time I visit the city.
That said, if you CAN get a room cheap enough (try and book at least 2 months in advance) then it's a nice, friendly hotel, although lacking with regard to the facilities.

i found this hotel to be very cheap in terms of room quality. the staff were very nice, but the entire hotel looks like it was just thrown together with furniture on sale from argos.
the room was so small and oddly shaped it was obvious they had divided it from a larger room at some stage. i could hear every creak in the floor boards as people walked past, and spending a night listening to traffic kept me awake in time for overhearing the neighbours in conversation.
cutlery was not clean, and there was still builder's dust wherever i put my coat.
the attached pub resembles most cheap restaurant bathrooms, (fair enough it is cheap, but i would prefer the local chip shop)
tiny rooms, bad food, overpriced for what you get and noisy as hell. the ryanair of hotels in my opinion.

We stayed here for one night on a coach trip to Cosford air show. We were anxious about staying at this hotel after reading very negative reviews. The hotel is in the centre of Wolverhampton and we were staying on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Our room was on the second floor facing the wall of the next door theatre. There was no view but that did not bother us. The room was clean and had twin beds. The base of the bath was chipped but we were only used the overhead shower.
Food in the restaurant was plentiful and hot. The evening meal consisted of waitress service for the first course and buffet for the main course and dessert. Breakfast also was good and replenished as necessary. The restaurant was very crowded at times and queues did form for the buffet.
Our only gripe and also one expressed by most of our coach tour group was that it was very noisey. There was a wedding reception on the first floor and the music and noise made by the guests went on until the early hours of the mornjng.
Over all better than expected and good value for the price we paid and for a short stay.

Rooms basic but ok and our deal was reasonable. No wifi for most of the two weeks we stayed as it was broken.
Fire alarm went off with someone smoking in their room at roughly 630am two days in a row. Why they were not evicted after the first offence I do not know! Staff not the best, but it's generally ok.
