We spent a night at this Travelodge and have no complaints at all. It was clean and quiet. The location is great, close to a local pub/restaurant, pizza place, etc, and right off the motorway (M1). We didn?t book in advance and thus paid 50 quid but it was worth every penny.

Visted York but could not find value in the York area so we chose the 20 mile drive to this location. We paid 29 GBP for each of our two rooms by booking early. A little difficult to find as it is set back behind the roundabout but if you look carefully they have a sign on the traffic circle. Good location if you have wheels as American corner as we call it is close..........KFC, Pizza Hut, McDees.......etc. Rooms were clean and met our expectations.....basic no frills just what we needed. Staff got us extra towels and pillows when requested.

We have just spent 2 nights in this hotel and enjoyed our stay there, the receptionist,housekeepers etc were very friendly and helpful.The facilities were very good for a twin/family room that only cost 28 pounds per night and as previous reviewers have said is ideally situated with easy access to the M1 motorway and in a quiet corner near to Harvester,Mcdonalds,etc.

Stayed here the weekend of the Robbie Williams concert at Roundhay - 9th Sept. Good value room, clean and tidy. Friendly staff on check in, arranged taxis etc.... Plenty of stuff for a cuppa tea... Despite the busy weekend the hotel staff were very obliging.
