If you like mountains and all activities associated, or vat free shopping for designer items holiday, this is it. If you drive there parking can be expensive. Find a hotel with spaces, preferably complimentary. I highly recommend Hotel Magic Serc right in the city centre within walking distance of everything, it is top class with jaccuzi, sauna and mini gym. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and it is buffet based so help yourself for a set fee which includes wine at all meals. For the shoppers there are all designer brands available without the vat and huge savings on top quality items. Shops are on your doorstep and the furthest shops are within reasonable walking access. It is nestled in the Pyrenees and the views are breathtaking, with mountain walks and excursions. There is a spa and wellness centre to indulge in. It is covered in a blanket of snow when the season is right so it is perfect for the skiier. Hotel Magic launches you right out of the hotel and up the mountain via a ski lift! The climate is good in summer too with lots of sunshine for the seeker although a higher mountain hotel would be recommended for this. It is totally tourist friendly and safe, there is almost zero theft (surrounded by policed borders) and we had no problem being english speaking.

Nice hotel, central situated. Meals are ok, people at reception desk are very kind and helpful. spacious rooms, with all facilities and clean. Parking available as well (very small, so be careful while parking!). Highly recomended if you want to spend few days in Andorra.

Just come back from Spain & France incl two nights in Andorra la Vella, the capital of Andorra. During our time in the Andorra la Vella, we stayed at the Magic Andorria Hotel. Our room was modern and of a good size. There was a balcony giving us a great view of city centre. Though the traffic noise could be a little intrusive. The buffet breakfast was terrific and we ate there until we were stuffed! There was even wine ! The hotel is central, just metres from the main shopping streets and 5 mins walk from the bus stop if you want to explore the tiny country. A recommended property.
