Situated in the heart of El Barco de Avila and next do Sierra de Gredos, this hotel is located on a historic whole of finals of the XVIII century, on a parcel with more than 60.000.-m2, the establishment is composed by five different buildings in which the different dependences and services are lodged. This vast tourist area, situated at the foot of the Gredos massif, encompasses a number of interesting natural and cultural highlights. The town of El Barco de Avila is the capital this side of the river Tormes. The area is famous for its legumes. The nearby Puerto del Pico conserves a two-thousand-year-old Roman road that was once used by itinerant cattle. The whole area is ideal for water and flying sports, as well as for hiking and trekking. Situated to the southwest of the province of Avila, this area includes Barco de Avila up to the border with Caceres Valle del Jerte, in the Sierra de Gredos.
