Ho prenotato due camere matrimoniali comunicanti al terzo piano per due giorni:devo dire che l'hotel è tenuto molto bene come del resto le camere che sono moderne,ben attrezzate e arredate in maniera molto calda ed accogliente;è inoltre dotato di un bellissimo centro benessere con bagno turco,vasca idromassaggio e piscina riscaldata con mosaici in stile pompeiano.Le note "negative"secondo me sono il personale non proprio competente seppur molto gentile ed il rumore nelle camere che per un hotel di questo rango non è proprio adeguato;c'era infatti un continuo gocciolare dai tubi che di notte può dare molto fastidio. Capitolo a parte merita il prezzo:se trovate un'offerta speciale come abbiamo trovato noi,ossia 159 euro a notte con colazione,ne vale sicuramente la pena visto anche la posizione centralissima,altrimenti direi che il prezzo ufficiale è decisamente esagerato per il tipo di città in cui si trova. P.S.Non abbiamo potuto provare purtroppo il loro ristorante molto quotato perchè era in ristrutturazione.

I have stayed here a few times over the years. The only real acceptable hotel in the centre of Trieste but the rooms are overpriced and the service is nothing special. I have had rooms of different sizes, they are all OK but nothing more. On this last visit the room was very small but very well maintained. Nowhere to sit. Bathroom average with a tub and hand-held shower only.

I have to agree with one of the previous reviewers, who suggested staying here if you're on someone else's budget. I was travelling for business and the company I was visiting had a special rate, so I decided to give it a try. The location is wonderful -- right on a beautiful piazza, in the middle of a nice shopping district, and very close to the waterfront. Due to other reviews, I expected poor service, but was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The room was nice, but nothing special - I would call it an average accomodation for Europe. The room was reasonably furnished, but definitely not luxurious, or even at the level of an American business hotel. One very nice thing was the soundproofing-- despite a lot of activitiy and noise outside my window, I was able to sleep in complete quiet. For about 50e less per night, I would say this was a great place to stay - at the price, I would be reluctant to stay here at my own expense.

OTTIMA POSIZIONE MA TROPPO COSTOSO! Avevo una tariffa speciale dunque non m’importava, altrimenti avrei protestato. Le camere sono eccellenti, la posizione ideale, il personale addetto al ricevimento molto disponibile, la colazione pessima per 150 euro a notte, ed anche il personale addetto alla colazione! Il centro benessere stranamente era chiuso nelle ore mattutine.
