Hmm, not sure how to rate it really. Great location (very near the station etc.) and the hotel itself is quite quaint and beautiful and service is good. The bed too soft though and although I requested a high room with a view, all I got is a dark second floor room that looked onto some old dodgy looking back-houses. Not nice! No wonder the curtain was drawn when I walked into the room. Apparently they were full, so I was unable to change rooms or floor. The small sauna had to be paid for additionally, which wasn't mentioned in the booking. All in all I was quite disappointed.

Je viens de passer 4 nuits à l'hôtel Victoria de Lausanne. Tout était parfait : accueil personnalisé, confort, propreté, calme. Un vrai 4 étoiles !

I have stayed here a couple of times and have had different size rooms but each time the rooms have been extremely well laid out, comfortable and clean. They are modern rooms with plasma TV. The temperature in the room was just right, considering it was -6c outside. This hotel is just across the road from the train station and is close to the main shopping and eating area. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is nice. The only downside is that there is no dinner in the evenings. However, there is room room service but I found the menu boring. There are plenty of places close by to eat out though. I would definately recommend this hotel if you're on a 1-2 night business trip.

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel une ou deux fois et dans des chambres de taille différente. Mais à chaque fois, les chambres étaient extrêmement bien agencées, confortables et propres. Elles également modernes et équipées de télévisions plasma. La température dans la chambre était exactement ce qu’il fallait sachant qu’il faisait -6°C dehors. L’hôtel est juste en face de la gare ferroviaire et à côté du principal quartier commerçant et de restaurants. Le personnel est chaleureux et le petit déjeuner est bon. Le seul inconvénient c’est qu’on ne peut pas dîner à l’hôtel le soir. Cependant, il y a un service de chambre mais j’ai trouvé que le menu manquait d’originalité. De plus, il y a une grande quantité d’endroits où manger à proximité. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter si vous êtes en voyage d’affaires et cherchez un hôtel pour une ou deux nuits.
