recently attended a wedding at this hotel. Found the place and the staff excellent

After my terrible experience at Grand Hotel Cravat (see my other contribution) I checked in at this hotel. Ok, it is not in the city centre, but Luxemburg is not so big. The rooms are nice, well decorated and the staff is friendly. The bar and restaurant waiters could be a bit more quicker, but service is ok.

Un hotel molto gradevole ubicato su un incantevole parco. Le camere sono abbastanza belle e dotate di tutti i comfort che sono al di sopra della media. La colazione era squisita.

L’hotel è ubicato in una posizione comoda, fuori dal tumulto e dai prezzi alti del centro città. L’atrio è colorato e invitante con un piccolo bar, e le camere sono piuttosto confortevoli. Abbiamo scelto una camera che dava sul parco, lontano dalla strada principale, ed era molto tranquilla. La colazione a buffet offriva una buona varietà di cibi e i rinfreschi serali nell’atrio era un bel tocco di classe. Il personale era cordiale e ben informato e il servizio in generale era eccellente. L’hotel si trova proprio sulla linea principale degli autobus che portano in centro (3 brevi fermate) oppure si può andare a piedi facendo una piacevole passeggiata di 15 minuti. Non esiterei a tornarci.

The hotel is conveniently located outside the hubbub and high pricing of the downtown area. The lobby is colorful and inviting with a small bar and the rooms are quite comfortable. We took a room on the "parkside" off the main road and it was really quiet. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety of food choices and the evening refreshments in the lobby adds a very nice touch. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and service was generally excellent. It is located right on the main bus line to downtown (3 short stops) or a nice 15 minute walk. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
