Week end di 1 notte in hotel prenotato tramite amicizie...nonostante avessimo una camera standard ci hanno fatto alloggiare in una suite con angolo cottura,frigo,salotto,camera matrimoniale,bagno con vasca e un terrazzo enorme che dominava le spalle della città. Veramente gentili,sia alla reception che tutti i servizi di ristorazione..solamente la colazione ho provato di meglio,per essere un hotel 4 stelle ... Da consigliare!!

Stayed at the Villa Sassa for one night and must say was most enjoyable. We checked in around noon and fortunately our room was ready. They gave us a superior double which was more than sufficient as it had a kitchen, separate bedroom and large TV room. The balcony provided great views. The hotel properties were excellent - an impressive gym, wellness area and apparently a fine SPA (which I didn't get the chance to use). The outdoor pool was impressive and all the staff was professional. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate. The only down side (so to speak) was the hotel decor which was a bit aged. Definitely well kept but had an old style to it. Didn't think much of the statues in the hallways either.

Ich war im Mai im Villa Sassa über ein langes Wochenende. Ich hatte nach einem schönen Hotel zum Abschalten und für ein erholsames Wochenende gesucht. Ich buchte die „Junior/Lady Suite“ und erwartete ein normales Hotelzimmer, vielleicht mit einer Couch. Stattdessen bekam ich ein luxuriöses Penthouse-Paradies voll mit Marmor, zwei Balkonen und einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Ich war dort so entspannt, man musste den Puls bei mir quasi suchen. Die Angestellten waren freundlich, selbst diejenigen die nicht Englisch sprachen haben sich geduldig meine Spanisch- und Französischversuche angehört und die zwei oder drei Worte Italienisch, die ich während des Aufenthalts aufgeschnappt hatte. Das Essen war spektakulär, der Service makellos und ich kann immer noch nicht ganz fassen, was für Geräte es im Fitnessraum gab. Jedes Mal, wenn man eine Wiederholung gemacht hat, erschien ein Smiley-Gesicht. Für mich war der Urlaub super erholsam, genauso wie ich ihn mir gewünscht hattee. Das Villa Sassa hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen und ich würde sofort wieder dorthin zurückkehren und ich habe auch bereits meinen ganzen Freunden und meiner Familie von der Schönheit Luganos und der tollen Villa Sassa erzählt. Vielen Dank, Villa Sassa! Du bist jeden Cent wert!

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Villa Sassa und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir checkten gegen Mittag ein und glücklicherweise war unser Zimmer auch schon fertig. Sie gaben uns ein Superior Double, das mehr als angemessen war, denn es hatte auch eine Küche, ein separates Schlafzimmer und ein großes Fernsehzimmer. Vom Balkon aus hatte man eine großartige Aussicht. Die Einrichtungen im Hotel waren exzellent: Ein imposanter Fitnessraum, Wellness-Bereich und die Spa sah auch sehr gut aus (wir hatten keine Zeit dafür). Der Außenpool war auch sehr beeindruckend und das Personal arbeitete professionell. Das Frühstücksbüfett war mehr als angemessen. Nicht so toll war nur, dass die Hoteleinrichtung nicht mehr die neueste war. Gut gepflegt, aber doch recht altmodisch. Die Statuen in den Gängen haben mir auch nicht besonders gefallen.

I stayed at the Villa Sassa over a long weekend in May. I was looking for a nice place to chill out and have a relaxing weekend. I booked a "Junior/Lady suite" and so I was expecting a normal hotel room, perhaps with a couch. Instead I got this palatial, marble-strewn penthouse paradise with two balconies and a stunning view. I was so chilled you had to check me for a pulse. The staff were friendly, even the ones who didn't speak English were very patient with my broken spanish and french and the two or three words I managed to pick up in Italian during my stay. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable and I cannot even get over the equipment in the gym; the machine gives you a smiley face every time you do a rep. For me it was the perfect relaxing vacation, the one I was looking for. Villa Sassa far exceeded my expectations and I would go back again in a heartbeat and I can't stop telling my friends and family about both the beauty of Lugano and the amazing Villa Sassa where I stayed. Thanks you Villa Sassa! You are worth every penny.
